2008 TATE Scholarship Winners
Claire Rowe from Ogilvie High and Romany Hunt from Geilston Bay High will attend the AATE/ALEA National Conference in Adelaide this year. Emma Norris from Hellyer College will attend as the winner of a NEAT scholarship.

TATE is a State Branch of the Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE). It is a professional body that aims to promote and support the teaching and study of English in Tasmania at primary, secondary and senior secondary levels. Our Association is open to teachers in Government, Catholic and independent schools as well as tertiary educators and students.

Celebrated Australian author Michael Gerard Bauer will be touring Tasmania from August 25 to 29. Michael is the best selling author of The Runnng Man, Don't Call me Ishmael and Ishmael and the Return of the Dugongs.

To be held from 4.30p.m. - 5.45 p.m.
