NATE
The National Association for the Teaching of English is the UK English teacher association. The site includes forums, details of publications, and an issues section with papers on various topics K - 12.

NCTE is a big organisation. This is a big site. It includes policy statements and guidelines, teaching ideas, information about professional development in the USA and lots more.

NZATE
The New Zealand Association for the Teaching of English site includes position papers and the current newsletter.

English Online New Zealand
English Online contains a wide range of English teaching resources, professional readings and resources and interactive projects for students. It has been developed by Unitec New Zealand and funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

MyRead
Informed by current literacy research, including Luke and Freebody's Four Resources Model, the MyRead website provides teachers with strategies to support underperforming students in the middle years of schooling.

Read Write Think
An NCTE and IRA sponsored website which provides educators with a large range of resources in reading and language arts instruction.

The Le@rning Federation is an exciting and innovative project that employs emerging new technologies to produce online curriculum content to encourage student learning and support teachers in Australian and New Zealand schools.
